DSA organizes the Mentorship Program, where we match mentors with mentees who may be looking for additional support. This program is beneficial to both our mentors and mentees, where everyone can sharpen their skills and meet new people.

Joining the DSA’s Mentorship Program is one of the best ways to create a lasting impact in your last few years at Design at York. Improve your communication, leadership, and mentorship skills by supporting junior-year students with their transition into university. Every year, the DSA matches mentors with mentees, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Establish communication methods and meeting frequencies to ensure your mentee is given proper support
Accommodate your mentee’s needs to the best of your abilities

Stay updated with the DSA’s communications (through email and Discord) and respond if prompted
Treat your fellow mentees and mentors with kindness and respect!
